Do you offer custom engagement rings?
1
Yes, custom design is one of our specialties. From reimagining a classic solitaire to creating a completely one-of-a-kind piece, we’ll guide you through the process step by step.
Do I need an appointment?
2
We encourage everyone to come in without an appointment to get the process started. All of our staff can help you in the beginning phases of design. In your first visit we have to determine the finger size, stone shape, metal color, and many other details before it’s time to sit down with a designer.
How long does a custom design take?
3
Most custom pieces take approximately 4 to 6 weeks depending on the design. We recommend reaching out early if you’re working with a specific proposal date.
Can I use my own stones or metal?

In many cases we can use your heirloom stones in the design of your piece. As far as metal is concerned we can offer you a value on that, but we do not cast new pieces using existing metal. We are also able to refurb or repurpose existing pieces and give them new life.
Yes, we provide professional repair services, and not just on jewelry purchased at Bg. Some of our services include; resizing, prong repair, stone replacement, soldering, polishing, and more.
In some cases we may require a deposit. The balance is due upon completion and pickup.
We do not offer in store financing, but you’re welcome to pay partial payments while your piece is in production. Full balance is due at time of pickup.
Yes, we offer both natural and lab grown diamonds. We’ll walk you through the differences in origin, pricing, and value so you can choose what feels right for you.
Most of our center diamonds are certified by reputable grading labs such as GIA or IGI. We’ll always review the certification details with you before purchase.
We actually encourage you to not make an appointment for wedding bands. We like for you to come into the store, try on from our large in stock selection, and go from there. If we need to go the custom route for a band, we can determine many aspects before starting that process in that first in person visit.
We recommend having your rings inspected every 6-12 months. If you had an incident with the ring, we recommend taking off the piece and not wearing it until we have inspected it.
We cannot give estimates over the phone or e-mail. There are way too many to many factors to take into consideration before giving an estimate. In most cases when you bring in the item we can give you an estimate on the spot. In some cases the jeweler has to sit with the piece and write up a full estimate which can take about a week.
